Mazdutide raw material supplier CAS 2259884-03-0 · Dual GLP-1 / glucagon receptor agonist

Mazdutide raw material from Pepti, Guangzhou: a dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist derived from oxyntomodulin, supplied as bulk powder or lyophilized vials and released with a batch COA reporting RP-HPLC purity and MS identity. Two public records are in the Pepti COA library, at 99.12% and 99.37% by HPLC. Sample 1 kit (10 vials); private-label OEM from 50 kits.

01

What Mazdutide is

Dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist derived from oxyntomodulin (acylated). INN mazdutide; published in WHO INN lists.

Mazdutide is a synthetic analogue of oxyntomodulin, the gut peptide that naturally activates both the GLP-1 receptor and the glucagon receptor, modified for a long half-life by acylation of a lysine side chain with a fatty diacid through a linker. It belongs to the same design family as the other lipidated agonists on this site, but its backbone is oxyntomodulin-derived rather than GIP-derived, which changes its hydrophobic profile and its impurity pattern relative to tirzepatide and retatrutide.

The sequence is public through the WHO INN records. PubChem CID 167312357 lists the molecular formula C207H317N45O65 and a computed molecular weight of about 4476 g/mol; NCATS GSRS lists the substance under UNII MB76Z4IBZ5, and the CAS number is 2259884-03-0. Buyers doing their own identifier cross-check should use those values. Pepti's batch certificate reports the observed mass from electrospray mass spectrometry for the lot; a buyer should compare that figure against the PubChem theoretical mass rather than against any number on this page, because the certificate is the lot-specific document.

Mazdutide is a newer entry in the Pepti library than semaglutide or tirzepatide, which is why only two public records exist so far. The analytical work is the same: reversed-phase HPLC on a C18 column with an acidified acetonitrile gradient for purity, electrospray MS for identity, and the standard three dates on the certificate. The COA reading guide walks through a record field by field.

Supply formats, units and minimums

Two formats, one unit system, no hidden tiers.

Raw powder

Mazdutide raw material is supplied as bulk powder from 5 g, shipped cold-chain. Each shipment is tied to one production batch and its COA; the lot code on the container matches the lot code on the certificate. Raw powder is the format research organizations and fill-finish partners ask for when they run their own weighing, reconstitution or formulation work.

Lyophilized vials

The same batch can be filled as lyophilized powder in glass vials. The unit is fixed: 1 kit = 10 vials. Published lot strengths for Mazdutide are 5 mg, 10 mg; other fill weights are quoted on request. Vials ship with a neutral label by default; private-label artwork is handled under the OEM minimum.

Minimums

  • Sample order: 1 kit (10 vials) of one compound and strength, so a buyer can test before scaling.
  • Private-label OEM: 50 kits (500 vials) per artwork, after label scope is approved.
  • Bulk powder: from 5 g, shipped cold-chain.
  • Custom sequences: 100 kits (1,000 vials), typically about 15 days after specification and payment confirmation — for analogues not listed on this site.

Public mazdutide records cover 5 mg and 10 mg vials. Larger fills from the same released lot are quoted on request within the production-batch window. For buyers who already purchase tirzepatide or retatrutide from Pepti, mazdutide can be added to the same RFQ and ships with its own lot certificate under the same cold-chain packing.

03

Specification and batch evidence

Published batch range: 99.12%–99.37% by HPLC across 2 public records.

Every Mazdutide batch is released against a certificate of analysis that reports chromatographic purity (RP-HPLC, area-percent of the main peak) and molecular-weight identity (mass spectrometry, observed mass compared with the theoretical mass of C207H317N45O65). The COA also carries the lot code, manufacture date, test date and retest date. Those are the fields a buyer should match against the quoted lot before paying; nothing on this page replaces that lot-specific document.

What the certificate does not show matters just as much. HPLC area-percent describes how much of the UV-absorbing material elutes as the main peak; it does not quantify water, counter-ion, residual solvent or fill weight. MS identity confirms that the main component has the expected mass; it does not by itself prove the absence of a co-eluting isomer. Buyers who need those answers run their own panel on a received sample, and Pepti supports that route — see quality and batch records.

Lead-time ladder for the GLP-1 family

Three windows, counted from specification and payment confirmation.

  1. Sample kits
    5–10 days

typically, for 1-kit sample orders of a listed GLP-1 compound

  2. Production batch
    14–21 days

typically, for a first production batch after specification is confirmed

  3. OEM repeat order
    21–28 days

typically, for private-label repeat batches with artwork already approved

Lead times are typical ranges, not commitments; the applicable window is confirmed on each RFQ.

Mazdutide sits in the GLP-1 family ladder with the other five compounds on this site. A sample kit normally leaves the Guangzhou site within the first window because it is filled from a released batch. A first production batch takes the middle window because synthesis, cleavage, purification, lyophilization and QC run in sequence for your specification. OEM repeat orders take the longest window because label printing, carton proofing and fill are added after the material is released. If a batch is already in stock, the quote says so and the window shortens; if a custom strength or analogue is requested, the quote says that too.

How to verify Mazdutide from Pepti before you pay

Four checks that take less time than a wire transfer.

  1. Open the public record. Pick a lot from the list above and open it on peptioem.com. Compare the compound, strength, lot alias, purity result and dates with the quote you received.
  2. Ask for the lot that will ship. Public records are examples of the document format. For your order, request the COA of the exact lot allocated to you and confirm the lot code again on the shipping label when it arrives.
  3. Check the identifiers. CAS 2259884-03-0 and the theoretical mass of C207H317N45O65 are public; the MS result on the COA should sit within normal instrument tolerance of that mass.
  4. Test a received sample if your QA requires it. Order 1 kit (10 vials), send one vial to a laboratory of your choice, and compare. Pepti's own independent data point is Janoshik report #210105 (Retatrutide 20 mg sample: 19.52 mg content, 99.837% purity, analyzed 2026-10-07), which is sample-specific and verifiable at verify.janoshik.com.

Storage, shipping and handling

Cold chain in transit; retest date on the COA.

Mazdutide ships from Guangzhou as sealed lyophilized powder in an insulated carton with cold packs or dry ice by route. Check the lot alias on the courier label, inner carton and certificate on arrival, inspect the cold packs and seals, and log the lot before storage. Dispatch photographs by month and destination are on the order-photos page.

Keep sealed containers cold, dry and dark under the conditions stated on the certificate; equilibrate to room temperature before opening; aliquot bulk powder once rather than reopening the primary container. As with the other lipidated peptides here, the powder may look slightly waxy, which is normal.

The retest date on the certificate is the trigger for re-examination by HPLC and MS. Compare a re-test with the certificate values and with the published results for the compound, allowing for method differences in area-percent, and contact Pepti with the lot alias and raw data if a result disagrees materially.

07

Research-use boundary

Scope. Mazdutide from Pepti is supplied as a research-use raw material to research organizations, laboratories and B2B buyers. For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. No instructions for use, no protocols and no medical information are given, and buyer eligibility, destination rules and intended use are reviewed before a quote becomes an order. Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance (API) manufacturer or CDMO and does not publish a GMP certificate or DMF. Buyers who need a drug-substance manufacturer with a filed master file should look elsewhere; buyers who need a transparent research-use batch with a verifiable COA are in the right place.

Questions buyers ask

Why is the mazdutide molecular weight on this page different from the observed value on some certificates?

This page quotes the PubChem computed value for the free peptide (C207H317N45O65, about 4476 g/mol, CID 167312357). A certificate reports the observed mass for a specific lot as measured by the laboratory, which should be compared directly with the theoretical value from the same formula. If a certificate you receive shows a figure that does not reconcile with that formula, ask Pepti for the spectrum and the method before accepting the lot.

How many public mazdutide records are there?

Two on the review date, at 99.12% and 99.37% by HPLC for 10 mg and 5 mg vials respectively. More are added as records are prepared for publication. Your order ships with the certificate for the specific lot allocated to it.

What are the minimums and lead times for mazdutide?

Sample order 1 kit (10 vials); bulk raw powder from 5 g, shipped cold-chain; private-label OEM from 50 kits (500 vials). Typical GLP-1-family lead times are 5–10 days for sample kits, 14–21 days for a production batch and 21–28 days for OEM repeat orders.

What is mazdutide from Pepti intended for?

Research use by research organizations, laboratories and B2B buyers. For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance (API) manufacturer or CDMO and does not publish a GMP certificate or DMF.
